Care

The materials information sheets contain all the information you need about caring for surfaces.

Venereed

Model avaiable:
Habi, Rivo, Aquo

Cleaning.
For routine maintenance of wooden products, use a soft cloth or a microfibre cloth (available at Scavolini Dealers) dampened with water, while making sure to clean along the grain direction. For deeper cleaning, use a cloth with a small amount of non-abrasive detergent added to the water, then rinse with the well wrung-out cloth and dry all surfaces thoroughly.

Avoid:
- using aggressive products such as ethyl alcohol, stain removers, thinners, acetone, trichloroethylene, ammonia or bleach;
- using abrasive products;
- exposing the bathroom units to direct sunlight, so as to delay the colour variation process that the wood and paint may undergo over time.

Lacquered

Model avaiable:
Habi, Rivo, Lagu, Idro, Aquo

Cleaning.
Cleaning. For routine maintenance of lacquered products, use a soft cloth and non-abrasive detergents or, simply, a microfibre cloth (available at Scavolini Dealers). In case of stubborn stains, a very diluted ethyl alcohol solution may be used to clean glossy lacquered surfaces only. Immediately wipe away any liquids that come into contact with the lacquered products so as to prevent lingering stains. Paint scratches. In case of minor scratches in the paint surface due to knocks, request a touch-up jar.

Avoid:
- using aggressive products such as ethyl alcohol, stain removers, thinners, acetone, trichloroethylene, ammonia or bleach;
- using abrasive products;
- exposing the bathroom units to direct sunlight, so as to delay the colour variation process that the wood and paint may undergo over time.

Melamine-Faced

Model avaiable:
Habi, Rivo, Aquo

Cleaning.
For routine maintenance of melamine-faced products, use a soft cloth and a neutral detergent or, simply, a microfibre cloth (available at Scavolini Dealers). To remove stubborn dirt, use a soft brush and/or sponge together with liquid or neutral detergents. Remove all traces of detergent with a dry cloth so as to prevent the surface from losing its shine or becoming smeared.

Limescale stains.
For surfaces, use detergents containing weak acids (10-15% acetic acid, diluted citric acid). For light limescale stains, a sponge dampened with warm water or a little vinegar may be sufficient.

Avoid:
- using steel wool pads, products containing abrasive creams or powder detergents as they might ruin the shine of the surface;
- using acetone and thinners.

Glass

Model avaiable:

Cleaning.
For effective cleaning, simply use a soft and damp cloth together with non-abrasive detergents. Avoid using steel wool pads, abrasive substances or powder detergents.

Caution: to prevent breakages, be careful to avoid knocks on the surfaces.
